Initial concept

Trees have extraordinary ability to fit in almost any kind of surrounding. They are always appreciated staffage for an architectonic structure (especially in urban context). What is more they can interact with its immediate surrounding. Above photo shows remnants of the tree that used to grow near the fence. The trunk has grown round metal bars, uniting both elements. The connection is especially interesting because of nice plication of the trunk.

The phenomenon exists also in a bigger scale. Below are photos of abandoned Ta Prohm temple in Cambodia. Trees growing out of ruins create unique atmosphere of the place.

The last photo shows roots that symbiotically merge with walls of the Fasilidas bath house in Etiopia.
